Seahorse Sailing Club

WHSA

The Welsh Harp Sailing Association (WHSA) co-ordinate the various sailing interests that use the Welsh Harp (aka Brent Reservoir) that Seahorse Sailing Club sails on.

University of London, Sea Cadets, Scouts, Youth Base and others share the water, which is rented from British Waterways.

Committee members from the various user organisations, jointly arrange racing so the water is not congested, and collect the rent for British Waterways, via a per head and boat licence.

WHSA also looks after mowing the grass areas, maintaining buoys and site security.

WHSA represents sailors’ interests in meetings with other users of the surrounding open spaces.
